I had a deeply disturbing experience this morning at The Forest CC that completely crossed the line from poor customer service into outright hostility and physical intimidation. I was scheduled for an 8:34 AM tee time and arrived early. I was paired with a group of strangers, one of whom was arriving right at 8:30 AM and was supposed to ride in my cart. While another player went to fetch him from the parking lot (a 2-minute window), the starter, Tom Ball, approached me. I politely explained the situation, but instead of managing the tee sheet professionally, he immediately escalated. He stepped into my personal space, looked at me with pure hostility, and aggressively snapped, "You need to go to the tee right now, and I'm serious, or you can find another day to play golf." Realizing he was completely irrational, I decided to protect my peace, withdraw from the round, and head inside for a refund. Shockingly, the moment I said I was leaving, his manufactured urgency vanished and he casually mentioned there was a rain delay anyway. Course is in great shape. Greens are much faster than some of the other courses I've played. Staff is friendly and helpful. The dining room food was delicious! I had a spicy tuna sushi roll (yum). Our server, Gabby was attentive and very pleasant. Would definitely come back.

Played the Bobcat and really like the course. Very fair and enjoyable layout. Overall condition is great. Greens were in good shape and acceptable speed.

It's such an amazing and beautiful environment. Came here for dinner with my family, and the service and food were both 10/10. I had the french onion soup and steak sandwich. My sister got blackened salmon, and it looked incredible! I can't wait to come back next year to try something new! ❣️
